DMCA Policy

How copyright concerns are handled on this domain under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

What This Site Hosts

This domain hosts one file directly: the HappyMod installer APK reviewed on this site. That installer functions as a client — it connects to and downloads mods from sources outside this domain once installed. This site does not host, store, or control the individual mod files distributed through that platform, and does not host games, patched app builds, or any content shown inside the HappyMod app after installation. A copyright claim about content encountered through the installed app, rather than on this domain, is not something this site can act on directly, since the content in question isn’t hosted here.

Filing a Notice

A copyright holder who believes content hosted directly on this domain infringes their rights can submit a takedown notice. Under the DMCA, a valid notice needs:

  • The exact URL of the content on this site
  • A description of the copyrighted work being infringed
  • Contact information, including a working email address
  • A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the sender is authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf
  • A physical or electronic signature

A notice missing any of these elements isn’t a valid DMCA notice and can’t be processed as one — incomplete submissions get returned with the specific missing element identified.

What Happens After a Valid Notice

The content’s presence on this domain gets confirmed first. If the notice is valid and the content is confirmed, access to it is removed or restricted, and the party who submitted the original content (if applicable) is notified that a claim was received and acted on.

Counter-Notification

Someone who believes their content was removed in error can submit a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice includes: identification of the specific content that was removed and its location before removal; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification; contact information and a physical or electronic signature; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the address on file, or — for an address outside the United States — any judicial district where this site’s operator can be found.

A valid counter-notice is processed within the timeframes the DMCA sets for restoring content absent a follow-up legal action from the original claimant.
